What is Muay Thai Kickboxing (or Thai Boxing)?
Muay Thai Kickboxing (or Thai Boxing) is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” as the hands, shins, elbows, and knees are all used extensively in this martial art. A practitioner of Muay Thai thus has the ability to execute strikes using eight “points of contact,” as opposed to “two points” in boxing and “four points” used in the primarily sport-oriented forms of martial arts such as Tai Kwon Do and Karate, making it extremely effective.
Our kickboxing style is a mix of Muay Thai, boxing, and kickboxing, adapted to suit either Kickboxing or Mixed Martial Arts.
We have programs for both beginners and intermediate strikers who is looking to expand their knowledge and can be used for MMA, fitness, kickboxing competition or self-defense.
We teach proper techniques and concepts and then apply them into different combinations that can be used in realistic situations.
